Turn practice into a team sport
Run a contest on one drill, one sim or all practice, for a window you set. Quotain ranks every rep by best score or practice streak and names the winner when time runs out.
A contest with a deadline. Quotain keeps the standings and names the winner when time runs out.
- Day 1 · Oct 6
Point the team at one skill.
Pick a drill or a sim, pin the call stage and the scorecard that counts, and choose everyone or specific teams. Each rep in it gets a notice when it starts.
The New competition form in Quotain: the manager picks Morgan Lee's sim, pins the Pricing review stage, ranks by best score for one week, includes everyone, and creates it. Each rep gets a notice that they're in. - Day 5 · Oct 10
Every attempt moves the board.
Each graded session in the window updates the standings. Reps see where they stand on their results page, with a reminder 48 and 24 hours before the end.
Leo Chen's results page in Quotain on day 5: his new attempt scores 7.7, and the competition board moves him from fifth to fourth, two days before the end. - Final · Oct 13
The best attempt wins.
When the window closes, Quotain names the winner and tells everyone in the contest. A tied score goes to the rep who needed fewer attempts.
The finished competition in Quotain: Ana Ruiz wins with 8.8. Jordan Park also reached 8.8, but in five attempts to Ana's two, so he places second.

Questions managers ask before their first competition
Who can create a competition?
Managers. Org admins can run a competition for everyone or for specific teams, and team leads can run one for the teams they lead. You can fill in the form or ask the Assistant to set one up.
What can reps compete on?
All practice, one drill, or one sim. On a sim you can also pin the call stage and the scorecard, so only sessions at that stage, graded with that scorecard, count toward the standings.
How are reps ranked?
Choose Best score or Longest streak when you create it. Best score ranks each rep's highest graded session in the window. Longest streak ranks the longest run of consecutive practice days inside the window.
Does more practice mean a higher rank?
Not on its own. Best score counts each rep's single best graded attempt, so ten average sessions don't beat one strong one. When two reps tie on score, the rep who needed fewer attempts ranks higher.
Can teams compete against each other?
Yes. Scope the competition to two or more teams and the page adds a Teams ranking, with each team placed by its top rep.
How do reps hear about it?
Reps get a notice when they're added, a standings reminder 48 and 24 hours before the end, and the result when it closes, in the app and by email, Slack or Teams according to their notification settings. A live competition also shows on the practice start page and on the rep's results.
What counts, and what happens if we cancel?
Only sessions completed inside the window count, so finished standings don't change afterwards. Cancelling a competition freezes the standings and no winner is declared.
