7 Yoodli Alternatives for Sales Teams Practicing Real Deals (2026)

On this page

TL;DR

  • Yoodli is a strong pick for communication coaching across sales and other conversations, with public individual plans. Sales teams look for alternatives when they want buyers built from a specific deal, a sales-only tool, or a different pricing model.
  • For practice on an upcoming deal, with real calls graded against your scorecard, start with Quotain.
  • For a sales-only suite that pairs roleplay with real-call scoring and buying committees, look at Hyperbound. For avatar-led onboarding courses, Second Nature. For readiness gates before live calls, PitchMonster. For roleplay inside a full enablement suite, Mindtickle.
  • For many practice formats without per-seat pricing, look at Outdoo. For a published per-seat price, Kendo is the only vendor here that lists one.
  • Run every finalist on the same real deal for two weeks with the scorecard below, and get a written rollout quote before you choose.

How we compared

On October 26, 2026 we read each vendor's own pricing page and the product page for its roleplay feature, listed in each section below. We did not use third-party price estimates or review-site scores. We judged each tool on six questions a sales team would ask when it needs deal-specific buyer practice:

  1. Can the AI buyer be built from a specific account, stage and prior call?
  2. Does the score point to evidence in the transcript?
  3. Can a rep retry the moment that went wrong?
  4. Are real calls connected to practice?
  5. What formats are supported (voice, video, screen share, several buyers)?
  6. How clear is the price before a sales call?

Quotain publishes this article and is one of the tools listed. We placed it first because this list is for teams that want deal-specific practice, which is the job Quotain is built for. Each competitor gets a best-for label and a case where it is the better pick. If you want a broader category view, our best AI sales roleplay software guide ranks eight tools, including Allego.

Why sales teams look for Yoodli alternatives

Yoodli does a lot well. Its pricing page lists a free Starter plan and paid individual plans from $8 per month billed annually, and its sales roleplay page covers cold calls, discovery, demos, negotiations and multi-persona buying committees graded against your rubric. Our Yoodli review covers its strengths and gaps in more detail.

Sales teams still shop around for a few reasons:

  • They want the buyer built from a real deal. Yoodli's sales page describes buyers "built on your ICP" and roleplays generated from uploaded content. A team preparing for a named meeting may want a buyer that knows the account and the last call.
  • They want a sales-only tool. Yoodli also serves interviews, leadership, presentations and healthcare. Some sales teams prefer a product they own and configure on their own.
  • They want a different price model. Yoodli's Business plan is per seat, billed annually, with no public price. Some teams want a published per-seat price, and some want pricing that is not tied to seats at all.
  • They want a specific format. Some teams care most about video avatars, others about screen-share demos or phone-style cold calls.

1. Quotain: Best for practice on a specific upcoming deal

Quotain builds the AI buyer "from your playbook, past calls, and deal context," according to its AI sales simulations page. For a named meeting, it reads the account and the last call and gives the buyer the same budget pressure and doubts. Reps can run a full call or drill the one question that keeps stalling deals, then retry that moment and see the score move.

Scores are tied to your criteria. The real-call grading page says Quotain grades recorded sales calls against your own scorecard, marks each requirement Met, Not met or N/A, and links every judgment to the transcript line behind it. Managers can correct a grade with a reason. A rep can pick a line in a real call transcript and continue the call from there with an AI buyer grounded in the recording.

Quotain's pricing page lists buyers in 32 languages and four difficulty levels on the Team plan, with buying-committee calls with several buyers available on request. Reps can share their screen during practice, per the Quotain changelog, and AI buyers can hold a negotiating position.

Pricing, checked October 2026: a free trial with up to 3 practice calls and no credit card, then a custom Team quote for seats and scope. Quotain will build a simulation from one of your live deals on the sales call before quoting.

Tradeoffs: Quotain's SOC 2 Type II audit is in progress with no report yet, per the Quotain Trust Center, and it does not offer SSO yet. Practice uses still buyer portraits, not video avatars. It is a sales tool, so it does not cover interviews or presentations.

What to test: bring one deal you are working this month. Check whether the buyer uses the account facts, pushes back the way that buyer would, and whether the score points to the line that cost the rep. The Quotain vs Yoodli comparison sets the two side by side.

2. Hyperbound: Best for a sales-only suite with roleplay and real-call scoring

Hyperbound's Practice page says simulations are generated "based on your product, ICP, and messaging," and that you can upload an existing call transcript to generate a persona. It claims support for buying committees with multiple stakeholders, demo practice "with AI that understands what's on your screen," 30+ languages, and scorecards with criteria-level breakdowns and transcript citations.

Pricing, checked October 2026: Hyperbound's pricing page lists a Free tier with 45 prebuilt AI roleplays, then Practice and Perform licenses priced per user with no public price. Perform adds real call scoring, deal coaching, CRM integrations (HubSpot, Salesforce and Dynamics) and call recorder integrations. Live Call Coaching is listed as an add-on.

Where it fits better than Quotain: teams that want one sales-only vendor for roleplay, real-call scoring, CRM intelligence and live-call coaching, with SSO and SCIM on the Practice plan.

What to test: which license your use case needs, and whether a transcript-built persona holds up across a full call. Read more in Quotain vs Hyperbound and our Hyperbound alternatives guide.

3. Second Nature: Best for avatar-led onboarding and certification courses

Second Nature's homepage lists "Moving Avatar" and "Video Avatar" roleplays, plus multi-persona avatar meetings for B2B and B2C. Its product page says you can "describe your scenario in freeform text or upload any content, and the AI builds a full roleplay in minutes," and mix videos, decks and quizzes into courses. Its FAQ names SCORM, SCIM and SAML SSO, LMS options such as Cornerstone and Docebo, and Salesforce and HubSpot.

Language counts differ by page: the product page says "Over 30 Languages Supported" and the FAQ says "more than 25 languages," both checked October 2026.

Pricing, checked October 2026: no public price. Second Nature asks you to fill out a form and schedule a call for pricing and plans. Free sample roleplays (about 3 to 5 minutes) are available on desktop.

Where it fits better than Quotain: onboarding and certification programs built as courses, where video avatars and LMS delivery matter more than deal-specific context.

What to test: how long one course takes to build, and whether the avatar adds realism for your reps. See Quotain vs Second Nature and our Second Nature alternatives guide.

4. PitchMonster: Best for readiness gates before reps take live calls

PitchMonster's homepage says scenarios can be generated from "your product docs, real calls, transcripts, and your website," and that teams can connect Salesforce and Gong to build roleplays from live deal data. It lists screen share, face-to-face and phone call modes, 29 languages, and readiness gates where managers define minimum scores and reps unlock live calls only after passing.

Pricing, checked October 2026: PitchMonster's pricing page lists two plans, AI Role-plays and AI Role-plays + AI Analysis + AI Coach, both quote-based and priced per seat. It says most teams start with 5 or more seats, standard contracts run 12 months with 3 and 6-month options, seats are swappable, and onboarding, integrations and support come with every plan. A free trial is set up after a demo request.

Where it fits better than Quotain: teams that want a formal pass bar before a rep takes live calls, with short-term contract options.

What to test: whether the gate threshold matches how your managers judge readiness, and how seat swaps work in practice. See Quotain vs PitchMonster.

5. Mindtickle: Best for roleplay inside a full enablement suite

Mindtickle's AI Sales Role Play page says admins can give the AI a few prompts and it creates the scenario, with "dozens of out-of-the-box buyer personas and buyer voices" and custom personas from natural-language prompts. It lists role plays and feedback in "25+ languages," screen-share role plays, automated certification based on scores you set, and a Salesforce integration that brings coaching into the Salesforce UI.

Pricing, checked October 2026: no public price. The role play page says pricing "depends on factors like company size and team structure" and points to a demo. A free demo roleplay is available at roleplay.mindtickle.com.

Where it fits better than Quotain: companies that want roleplay, content, learning programs and readiness reporting from one enablement vendor, and that run their sales process in Salesforce.

What to test: whether you need the wider suite, and how much admin time each new scenario takes. See Quotain vs Mindtickle and our Mindtickle alternatives guide.

6. Outdoo: Best for many practice formats without per-seat pricing

Outdoo's pricing page lists voice, chat, video and in-person AI modes, video AI avatars, cold call and discovery plus 15+ call types, and screen-aware roleplays on its Growth plan. Growth also lists 55+ call recording integrations, 40+ LMS integrations and HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance.

Pricing, checked October 2026: a Free plan with 60 minutes of credits and no credit card. Growth is a "custom quote by team size" and Enterprise is a custom plan with a proof of concept. The page says "You're not buying seats," every tier allows unlimited team members, and annual contracts are standard. Implementation is quoted separately.

Where it fits better than Quotain: teams that want video avatars and several practice formats, and that prefer pricing not tied to seat count.

What to test: how usage is measured on the paid plans, and whether each format is as strong as the voice call. See Quotain vs Outdoo.

7. Kendo: Best for a published per-seat price with call review included

Kendo's AI roleplay page says "one prompt" creates a realistic AI prospect, with control over personality, call type and sales cycle. Practice calls are scored against your methodology, starting from templates such as BANT or MEDDPIC or a custom scorecard, and Kendo's call review feeds suggested training back to reps.

Pricing, checked October 2026: Kendo's pricing page lists a $0 free trial, Pro at $55 per seat per month (180 minutes of AI roleplay and 25 hours of live call scoring), Max at $100 per seat per month (480 minutes and 100 hours) and a custom Enterprise plan. Usage is pooled across the team.

Where it fits better than Quotain: small teams that want to see a price before talking to sales, with roleplay and call scoring in the same seat.

What to test: whether the pooled minutes cover your practice volume, and how realistic a one-prompt prospect is for your market. See Quotain vs Kendo.

Where Yoodli still fits better

Keep Yoodli on the list if:

  • Individual reps or managers want to start on their own with a paid plan under $25 per month.
  • The program covers sales plus interviews, presentations, manager coaching or other conversations.
  • Delivery feedback (pace, filler words, clarity) is the main gap.
  • SOC 2 Type 2, SSO, SCIM and LMS embedding are required for the first purchase.

How to choose a Yoodli alternative

Start from the job, then pick two or three finalists:

  • Preparing for upcoming deals: Quotain, then Hyperbound or PitchMonster.
  • Onboarding and certification courses: Second Nature, Mindtickle or Yoodli.
  • One enablement suite: Mindtickle.
  • Many formats, video avatars: Outdoo or Second Nature.
  • A price you can see today: Kendo.

Then run a two-week pilot. Give every finalist the same sanitized deal packet (account summary, stage, buyer role, two objections, the last call transcript) and the same rubric. Use the sales call scorecard as a starting point.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best Yoodli alternative for sales teams?

It depends on the job. For practice on specific upcoming deals, with real calls graded against your scorecard, Quotain is built for that. Hyperbound suits teams that want roleplay and real-call scoring in one sales-only suite. Second Nature fits avatar-led onboarding courses, and Mindtickle fits teams that want a full enablement suite. Run two or three finalists on the same deal before choosing.

Is there a free alternative to Yoodli?

Several vendors offer a free way to start, as of October 2026. Quotain offers up to 3 free practice calls with no credit card. Hyperbound has a free tier with 45 prebuilt roleplays. Outdoo has a free plan with 60 minutes of credits. Kendo lists a free trial, and Second Nature offers short free sample roleplays. None of these replace a team plan.

Which Yoodli alternative publishes its pricing?

Kendo is the only tool in this list with a published per-seat price, checked October 2026: Pro at $55 and Max at $100 per seat per month, with Enterprise custom. Yoodli publishes individual prices but not team prices. Quotain, Hyperbound, Second Nature, PitchMonster, Mindtickle and Outdoo quote team plans privately.

Is Hyperbound better than Yoodli for sales?

Hyperbound is sales-only and pairs roleplay with real-call scoring, deal coaching and CRM integrations on its Perform license. Yoodli covers sales plus broader communication practice and has public individual plans. For a sales team, Hyperbound may fit better if real-call scoring and sales-specific workflows matter most; Yoodli may fit better if the program spans other teams.

Which Yoodli alternatives support buying committees and screen share?

According to their own pages in October 2026, Hyperbound lists buying committees with multiple stakeholders and screen-aware demo practice. PitchMonster lists screen share mode. Mindtickle lists screen-share role plays. Outdoo lists screen-aware roleplays on its Growth plan. Quotain supports screen share during practice and offers buying-committee calls with several buyers on request.

Do any Yoodli alternatives grade real sales calls?

Yes. Quotain grades recorded calls against your scorecard and links each judgment to the transcript line. Hyperbound's Perform license includes real call scoring. PitchMonster's higher plan includes call analysis and a Gong integration. Kendo includes live call scoring hours in each seat. Yoodli Coach also reviews real calls, according to Yoodli's sales page.

How long should a Yoodli alternative pilot run?

Two weeks is enough for most sales teams. Use one team, one sales motion and one real deal, with the same rubric across every finalist. Week one tests setup, buyer realism and scoring. Week two tests whether reps come back without a reminder, which is the best early sign that the tool will be used after rollout.

Pick the tool that knows your next deal

If your team needs practice for calls it has on the calendar, compare tools on that call, not on a demo script. Bring one live deal to each finalist and use the scorecard above.
