Yoodli Review for Sales Teams: Roleplays, Coaching and Fit (2026)
On this page
TL;DR
- Yoodli is an AI roleplay and communication coaching product that started as a consumer public speaking tool and now sells to sales, enablement and L&D teams, according to Yoodli's own pages checked October 2026.
- For sales teams, its strengths are a cheap individual entry point, delivery feedback (pacing, filler words, clarity), methodology-based rubrics, multi-persona roleplays and enterprise controls such as SSO, SCIM and SOC 2 Type 2.
- It fits best when one program has to cover sales and other conversations, such as manager coaching, interviews or presentations, or when individual reps want to start on their own.
- Before you buy for a sales team, test whether the AI buyer can hold the context of a specific deal, whether scores point to evidence a manager agrees with, and what the per-seat team quote includes. Yoodli does not publish team prices.
- Quotain publishes this review and sells a competing product. The Quotain vs Yoodli comparison sets the two side by side.

How we checked
We read Yoodli's homepage, pricing page, sales roleplay page, sales team page, sales coaching page, public speaking page, its Roleplays and Coach product pages, its company information page and its help center on October 26, 2026. We did not run a paid Yoodli account for this review, so it covers what Yoodli publishes and what to test, not a scored hands-on trial.
Quotain publishes this article and competes with Yoodli for sales roleplay budgets. We tried to give Yoodli a fair reading: every Yoodli fact below is from a Yoodli page, and we name the cases where Yoodli is the better pick.
What Yoodli is
Yoodli's company information page says it was founded in 2021 in Seattle and began as a consumer public speaking tool before moving into business sales. Today its homepage groups five products: Roleplays for practice, Personas for AI experts embedded in roleplays or on a customer's site, Create for building learning journeys from a prompt, Coach for coaching in the flow of work, and Measure for proving skill gains.
Sales is one use case among several. The homepage also lists onboarding, manager coaching, AI tool rollouts, healthcare, partner enablement, interviewer training and public speaking. That breadth shapes most of this review. Yoodli is built to serve many kinds of conversations, and sales teams buy it either for that breadth or despite it.
What Yoodli does well for sales teams
A low-cost way to start
Of the eight AI roleplay vendors we checked for our Yoodli alternatives list, Yoodli and Kendo are the only two that publish paid prices. Yoodli's pricing page lists a free Starter plan with 5 lifetime sessions, Pro at $8 per month billed annually and Advanced at $20 per month billed annually, checked October 2026. A rep can try the product without a sales call, and a manager can hear it before asking for budget. Our Yoodli pricing guide covers each plan.
Delivery feedback from its speech coaching roots
Yoodli's public speaking page says it tracks "pacing, filler words, conciseness and more across every session." Its Roleplays product page lists "instant feedback on delivery, clarity, pacing and effectiveness." For reps whose problem is how they sound (rushing the price, filler words in a demo, long answers to short questions), this is the feedback that helps.
Roleplays graded against your methodology
The sales roleplay page says teams can "upload your talk tracks, personas, objections, decks, and methodology," and names Sandler, MEDDPICC, Challenger and SPIN as supported frameworks, plus your own. It lists cold calls, discovery, demos, negotiations and "multi-persona buying committees" as scenarios, and says reps get feedback "on content and delivery against your rubric."
Several practice formats
Yoodli's Roleplays product page lists "Video, chat and avatars," screen sharing during a session and support for buying committees with more than one AI participant. If your reps present on video, practicing face to face with an avatar may matter to you.
Real-call review and manager dashboards
The sales team page says "Yoodli Coach reviews real calls and suggests practice," and its Coach product page names Gong and Kaia as call sources, with nudges and a weekly digest in Slack, Teams or email. Yoodli Measure "shows readiness by rep, team and program," per the sales page.
Enterprise controls and LMS fit
The homepage lists SOC 2 Type 2, GDPR, SSO, SCIM and role-based access. The sales page says Yoodli "embeds in your LMS through SCORM, LTI or web embed." For a large company with a security review and an existing LMS, those boxes are checked on paper before the pilot starts.
Where sales teams should look closer
None of these are reasons to rule Yoodli out. They are the questions we would bring to a Yoodli demo.
Deal-specific context
Yoodli's sales pages describe buyers "built on your ICP" and roleplays generated from uploaded content. That suits onboarding, certification and new messaging. If your goal is to rehearse a specific upcoming call (this account, this stage, what the buyer said last week), ask Yoodli to build that scenario live from one of your deals, and time it. We did not find a Yoodli page that describes building a buyer from a single opportunity's CRM record and last call, so confirm it in the demo.
A product shared with other teams
Because Yoodli covers sales, leadership, interviews and more, a sales team may share the tool, the admin and the budget with L&D. That can be a benefit (one contract) or a cost (sales scenarios compete for program-design time). Ask who owns sales scenarios after launch.
Language counts vary by page
The sales team page says "25+ languages" and the Roleplays product page says "28+ languages," both checked October 2026. Neither is wrong for a buyer, but if you sell in a specific market, test that language with a native speaker before you commit.
Individual plans and customer data
Yoodli's pricing page says session data on Starter and Pro may be used to improve Yoodli, while Advanced, Business and Enterprise exclude data from AI training by default. If reps start on personal Pro accounts and paste in real deal details, that data sits outside your company's controls. Move pilots onto a team account.
Team pricing is not public
Business and Enterprise are "per seat, billed annually" with no price on the page. That is common in this market, but it means you cannot compare cost until a quote arrives. Ask for one early.
What review sites say about Yoodli
Yoodli's homepage cites a 4.8 rating on G2, checked October 2026. We could not load Yoodli's G2 or Capterra pages directly when we checked on October 26, 2026, so we are not quoting a score or a review count from either site. Check them yourself, and read them with three filters:
- Reviewer role. Many Yoodli users are individuals practicing speeches or interviews. Filter for sales, enablement and sales management reviewers.
- Company size. A review from a 10-person team says little about a 300-seat rollout, and the reverse is also true.
- Date. Yoodli has added products such as Create, Coach and Measure. Reviews older than a year may describe a different product.
Google autocomplete also shows "yoodli reddit review" and "is yoodli worth it," which suggests many searchers are individuals deciding whether to pay for Pro. For a sales team, a two-week pilot on your own scenario will tell you more than any review count.
Who Yoodli fits
Yoodli is a good fit when:
- Reps or managers want to start practicing on their own before the company buys anything.
- One program has to cover sales and non-sales conversations, such as manager coaching, interviewer training or presentations.
- Delivery (pace, filler words, clarity) is the main skill gap.
- The buyer is an L&D or enablement team running certification at scale across many departments.
- SSO, SCIM, SOC 2 Type 2 and LMS embedding are hard requirements for the first purchase.
Yoodli may be a weaker fit when:
- The main goal is rehearsing specific live deals with buyers who know the account and the last call.
- The sales team wants a tool owned and configured by sales, with no shared program.
- Real-call grading against the team's scorecard has to run on a call recorder Yoodli does not connect to.
Where Yoodli fits better than Quotain
Quotain is sold to sales teams and builds the AI buyer "from your playbook, past calls, and deal context," as its AI sales simulations page states. That is a narrower job than Yoodli's, and there are clear cases where Yoodli is the better pick:
- Individual access. Yoodli has public paid plans for individuals. Quotain offers up to 3 free practice calls, then a team quote, per its pricing page.
- Communication beyond sales. Interviews, presentations, leadership and difficult conversations are part of Yoodli's product. Quotain is for sales calls.
- Security paperwork today. Yoodli lists SOC 2 Type 2, SSO and SCIM. Quotain's SOC 2 Type II audit is in progress, per the Quotain Trust Center, and Quotain does not offer SSO yet.
- Video and avatar practice. Yoodli lists video and avatar formats. Quotain practice calls use still buyer portraits, not video avatars.
Quotain fits better when the team wants to rehearse a named deal, grade real calls against the team's scorecard with each judgment linked to the transcript line (see real-call grading), and send reps back to retry the moment that went wrong.
What to test in a two-week Yoodli trial
Run Yoodli and any other finalist on the same scenario, with the same reps and the same rubric. Score each line 0, 1 or 2.
Test | How to run it | Pass condition |
|---|---|---|
Setup time | Build one scenario from a real deal: account, stage, buyer role, two objections | A usable roleplay in under an hour of your team's time |
Buyer realism | Three reps run the scenario; each rates whether the buyer sounds like your market | Two of three say yes without prompting |
Context retention | Ask the buyer about a fact you set up in minute one, again in minute ten | Same answer both times, in role |
Pushback | Raise the difficulty and repeat the pricing moment | The buyer holds a position and asks for a reason |
Scoring evidence | Open the score for one call | Each criterion points to a line in the transcript |
Manager agreement | A manager scores the same call blind | The manager and the tool find the same top gap |
Delivery feedback | Compare pace and filler-word notes across two attempts | Notes change when the rep changes |
Real-call link | Connect your call recorder for one week | Real calls are graded and turned into a practice suggestion |
Repeat use | Count week-two sessions started without a reminder | At least half the pilot reps practice again |
Cost | Request the written rollout quote | Seats, modules, integrations and renewal are stated |

Frequently asked questions
Is Yoodli worth it for sales teams?
Yoodli can be worth it for sales teams that want delivery feedback, methodology-based rubrics and one program covering sales plus other conversations, with SSO and SOC 2 Type 2 in place. Teams that mainly need to rehearse specific live deals should test whether Yoodli's buyer holds deal context before committing. A two-week pilot on one real scenario is the fastest way to decide.
Is Yoodli free?
Yoodli has a free Starter plan with 5 lifetime sessions, according to its pricing page and help center in October 2026. Paid individual plans are Pro at $8 per month and Advanced at $20 per month, both billed annually. Business and Enterprise plans for teams are priced per seat and require a demo.
Is Yoodli safe to use with customer information?
Yoodli lists SOC 2 Type 2, GDPR compliance, SSO and SCIM on its homepage. Its pricing page says data is excluded from AI training by default on Advanced, Business and Enterprise, while Starter and Pro session data may be used to improve Yoodli. For customer details, use a team plan and review Yoodli's Trust Center with your security team.
What is Yoodli used for?
Yoodli is used for AI roleplays and communication coaching. Its homepage lists sales training, onboarding and certification, partner enablement, manager coaching, AI tool rollouts, interviewer training and public speaking. Individuals use it for interview prep and presentations; companies use it for sales readiness and wider L&D programs.
Does Yoodli work for sales roleplay?
Yes. Yoodli's sales roleplay page lists cold calls, discovery, demos, negotiations and multi-persona buying committees, with feedback against your rubric and support for Sandler, MEDDPICC, Challenger, SPIN or your own method. Test how well the buyer keeps the facts of a specific deal and whether scores cite transcript evidence.
What do Yoodli reviews say?
Yoodli's homepage cites a 4.8 rating on G2 as of October 2026. We could not load the G2 or Capterra pages directly, so check current scores yourself. Filter reviews by sales roles, company size and date, since many Yoodli reviewers are individuals using it for speaking or interview practice.
How does Yoodli compare with Quotain?
Yoodli covers sales and broader communication practice, with public individual plans and enterprise controls such as SSO and SOC 2 Type 2. Quotain is sales-specific and builds AI buyers from your playbook, past calls and deal context, then grades practice and real calls against your scorecard. Quotain has no SOC 2 report or SSO yet. The Quotain vs Yoodli comparison has the details.
Test both on a deal you are working now
If Yoodli is on your shortlist because it covers more than sales, keep it there and run the pilot above. If the job is getting reps ready for specific upcoming calls, put Quotain beside it on the same deal and compare the buyer, the score and the retry.
Read the Quotain vs Yoodli comparison, see how AI sales simulations build a buyer from your context, and book a demo with one live deal. Or try a free practice call first, no credit card needed. For other options, see our list of Yoodli alternatives.
