Mindtickle vs Allego: Practice, Coaching, Content, and Pricing Compared
On this page
TL;DR
- Mindtickle and Allego are both broad sales enablement suites with training, content, coaching, conversation intelligence, digital sales rooms and AI role play. Choosing between them is mostly a question of which suite fits how your team already learns and sells.
- Choose Mindtickle if you want AI grading for large certification waves and skill data tied to CRM numbers through its Readiness Index, plus the longer list of published security certifications (SOC 2, ISO 27001:2022, ISO 42001:2023 on its Trust Center).
- Choose Allego if language coverage and pricing clarity matter most. Allego states 32 practice languages, 71 voices and accents and scoring in 59 languages, prices per user per month billed annually, and says it never charges extra for AI or support.
- In both, live AI role play is its own priced item. Mindtickle adds two-way AI Role Play on the order; Allego sells AI Role Play as one of four priced plans.
- If your only need is roleplay practice, a focused tool such as Quotain may be a smaller purchase than either suite.

How we compared
We read each vendor's own pages on October 26, 2026. For Mindtickle: the AI Sales Role Play product page, the Description of Subscription Services and the Trust Center. For Allego: the AI Role Play and Coaching page, the pricing page and the Security and Trust page. Mindtickle also publishes its own Mindtickle vs Allego page; we did not use its ratings, since a vendor scoring a rival is not evidence.
Quotain publishes this comparison and sells AI sales roleplay software that competes with the practice part of both suites. We say so where it matters and name the cases where each suite fits better than Quotain. Features and packaging change, so confirm anything here in a pilot.
Practice and roleplay
Mindtickle. Mindtickle's AI Sales Role Play product page says the product comes with dozens of prebuilt buyer personas and voices, and that you can build your own personas with plain prompts that set tone, goals and pain points. You can upload your own objections, and the AI asks a subset in each session. Reps can share their screen to practice demos, and role plays run in 25+ languages. Mindtickle also describes Personalized AI Role Play, which creates practice for each rep from skill gaps found in call recordings, past role plays and assessment scores. The page describes one AI buyer per session; it does not mention committee calls or video avatars.
A packaging detail matters here. Mindtickle's subscription description says the Readiness package and the larger packages include one-way virtual role plays (a recorded pitch graded by AI) and do not include two-way AI Role Play, which is available when specified in an order. If reps need a live back-and-forth with an AI buyer, put that line on the quote.
Allego. Allego's AI Role Play and Coaching page describes unscripted simulations that adapt as the rep responds, with messaging rollouts, objection handling, interviews and hot seat drills as use cases. It lists support for 32 languages, 71 voices and accents, and scoring in 59 languages. Allego's pricing page describes its AI Role Play plan as practice against lifelike AI video avatars and lists pre-built scenarios for common sales situations as new in Allego 9. Neither page we read describes several AI buyers in one session or screen share during practice.
What the difference means for you. If reps will practice in many languages or regions, Allego publishes the more detailed language coverage. If demos and screen share are part of the practice, Mindtickle documents that on its role play page. If committee calls matter, ask both vendors, since neither page we read covers them.
Coaching and scoring
Mindtickle. Mindtickle's role play page says Copilot gives an initial score and detailed feedback, can create role play scenarios and grade submissions, and supports automated certification based on scores you set. It also says AI can review thousands of submissions. Reps see skill progress over time and soft-skill metrics such as talk ratio, pace and filler words. Coaching Rooms are listed in the Readiness package and above.
Allego. Allego's AI Role Play and Coaching page says AI-driven scorecards align coaching to defined skills across roles and regions, and that reps get structured guidance after every session. The pricing page lists manager scoring, rubrics and side-by-side review, plus custom badges and certifications, in the AI Role Play plan.
What to test. Both vendors score against rubrics you set, so the test is whether the score agrees with your managers. Have two managers score the same three sessions, then compare their notes with the AI score. If you are building a certification program, our guide to a sales certification program covers pass criteria and manager sign-off.
Content and learning
Mindtickle. Every Mindtickle package includes courses, assessments, certifications, AI Copilot and the Readiness Index, per its subscription description. Content management (Asset Hub) and Digital Sales Rooms come in the two larger packages, not in Readiness or LMS. Mindtickle also lists Ready-to-Deploy programs built by its content team, from one to three depending on the package.
Allego. Allego's Modern Learning and Conversation Intelligence plan covers structured programs and curricula, certification paths, automated assignments by role or skill, live events, AI lesson authoring, mobile and offline access, and flash drills. Its Content Management plan lists unlimited content with AI-generated tags, marketing-approved templates and external sharing. Battlecards, FAQs and case studies created with AI SmartDocs are listed as new in Allego 9.
What the difference means for you. Both cover the learning and content work an enablement team runs. The question is which one your reps will open between calls. Ask each vendor to show the rep's view on a phone, then the admin's view for publishing one update to every region.
Analytics and readiness reporting
Mindtickle. Mindtickle's role play page says its Readiness Index dashboards relate role play performance to business metrics such as quota attainment, deal size and ramp time. It also describes a two-way Salesforce integration that pulls CRM data in and pushes activity and skill data back. Call AI, Mindtickle's conversation intelligence, is listed only in its largest package.
Allego. Allego's coaching page says skills dashboards connect development to readiness and that skill signals show growth and gaps over time. The pricing page lists readiness dashboards in the AI Role Play plan, role-based dashboards that tie content engagement to pipeline, and conversation intelligence in the Modern Learning plan that shows which objections, competitors and messages come up across conversations.
What the difference means for you. If leadership wants skill scores next to quota and win data in one view, Mindtickle makes the more direct public claim. If the reporting you need is about content use and skill progress by region, Allego covers that. In both cases, ask to see a real dashboard with sample data, not a slide.
Pricing and contracts
Neither vendor publishes a price. They do publish different amounts about how they price.
Mindtickle. The AI Sales Role Play page says pricing depends on company size and team structure, with options explained in a demo, and that there is no self-serve free version of AI role play. The subscription description lists four packages and allows licenses in a combination of packages. Standard Support and Customer Success Services are included in the fee; hands-on workshops and customized training cost extra. Our Mindtickle pricing guide covers the packages and what to ask.
Allego. Allego's pricing page says it prices per user per month, billed annually upfront, and that price depends on seats and contract length. Channel and partner users get a lower list price, and non-revenue roles get reduced pricing. Allego says it never charges extra for AI capabilities or customer support, and that managed services cost extra. Its typical contract is 3 years paid annually, with 2-year and 1-year options. It says most deployments launch within 4 weeks.
What to compare. Ask both vendors for a quote with the same users, the same modules and a live AI role play line, over the same term. Then ask what changes on renewal.
Security and procurement
Mindtickle's Trust Center lists SOC 2, ISO 27001:2022, ISO 42001:2023 and HIPAA, says customers can enforce SSO, and says customer data is never used to train AI. Allego's Security and Trust page states SOC 2 Type II certification, says its practices align with ISO 27001, and says customer data is never used to train or fine-tune large models; its pricing page lists single sign-on under integration support. Ask each vendor for the current reports your security team needs.
Which to choose
Mindtickle is best for enterprises that want AI grading and certification at scale, skill data beside CRM outcomes, and the broader published security list. It suits teams where demo practice with screen share matters.
Allego is best for global programs that need many practice and scoring languages, teams that want video-avatar practice, and buyers who want a stated pricing unit and AI included at no extra charge.
Either may be the wrong buy if the team will use only the roleplay part. Both sell live AI role play as a priced item, and both bring a suite rollout with it. For a broader view of the category, see sales readiness vs sales enablement and our shortlist of Mindtickle alternatives.
The third option: a practice-only tool
Some teams compare Mindtickle and Allego when what they want is reps rehearsing hard calls. If you already have an LMS and a content system, a focused practice tool may cost less and launch with one team.
Quotain is one such tool. It builds AI buyers from your playbook, past calls and deal context, and reps run live voice calls against them at four difficulty levels, scored on your own scorecard with a focused retry on the weak moment (AI sales simulations). Per quotain.com/pricing, checked October 2026, the free trial includes up to 3 practice calls with no credit card, and Team plans are custom-quoted for seats and scope, with buyers in 32 languages. Buying-committee calls and grading of recorded customer calls are listed as available on request.
Where both suites fit better than Quotain:
- You want training, content, coaching and role play from one vendor.
- You need video avatars. Quotain uses still buyer portraits, not video avatars; Allego offers video avatars.
- Your security review requires SOC 2 or SSO today. Quotain does not have a SOC 2 report or SSO yet; both suites publish SOC 2.
- You need a learning library and content management, which Quotain does not offer.

Frequently asked questions
Is Mindtickle better than Allego?
Neither is better for every team. Mindtickle publishes stronger claims on AI grading for certification at scale, readiness data tied to CRM outcomes and security certifications. Allego publishes wider language coverage, video-avatar practice and a clearer pricing model. The better choice is the one that scores higher in a pilot on the work your team will do every week.
What is the difference between Mindtickle and Allego?
Both are sales enablement suites with training, content, coaching, conversation intelligence, digital sales rooms and AI role play. Mindtickle sells these in four packages and adds two-way AI role play on the order. Allego sells four plans priced per user per month, including a separate AI Role Play plan with video avatars, and says AI features and support carry no extra charge.
Does Mindtickle or Allego have better AI role play?
It depends on what reps practice. Mindtickle's role play page lists prebuilt and prompt-built personas, uploaded objections, screen share for demos and 25+ languages. Allego lists unscripted simulations against AI video avatars, 32 practice languages, 71 voices and accents, and scoring in 59 languages. Test both with the same scenario and the same reps before deciding.
How much do Mindtickle and Allego cost?
Neither publishes prices as of October 2026. Mindtickle says pricing depends on company size and team structure. Allego says it prices per user per month, billed annually upfront, with price set by seats and contract length, and a typical contract of 3 years. Ask both for quotes with the same users, modules and term.
Which is easier to implement, Mindtickle or Allego?
Allego's pricing page says most deployments launch within 4 weeks and lists project management, user provisioning and content pre-loading in its services. Mindtickle's scope depends on the package and services you buy, with workshops and customized training at extra cost. Ask each vendor for a dated plan for your first program.
Do Mindtickle and Allego support SSO and SOC 2?
Yes, according to their own pages. Mindtickle's Trust Center lists SOC 2, ISO 27001:2022 and ISO 42001:2023 and says customers can enforce SSO. Allego states SOC 2 Type II certification on its Security and Trust page and lists single sign-on under integration support on its pricing page.
Is there a cheaper option if we only need roleplay?
Possibly. If you already have an LMS and content tools, a practice-focused tool covers live roleplay without a suite contract. Quotain offers up to 3 free practice calls with no credit card and custom-quoted Team plans. It does not replace the training, content or conversation intelligence parts of either suite.
Pick the suite your reps will use, or skip the suite
If you need one vendor for learning, content, coaching and practice, pilot Mindtickle and Allego side by side with the scorecard above and buy the one that wins on weekly work. If practice is the whole job, compare a focused tool first: read Quotain vs Mindtickle and Quotain vs Allego, see the onboarding and certification use case, and book a demo with one live deal. Or hear the buyer yourself in a free practice call.
